The Sacred Way in Nanjing

Last night after dinner, we did karaoke with some friends.
Lots of people here like to do it. It was fun. We sang lots of songs in English
and they even gave me free ice cream.
Today we went to Purple Mountain in Nanjing to see more
stuff. We walked up lots and lots of stairs (to see a memorial for Sun
Yestsen). It was really hot. We got to eat ice cream.
See all those steps?
Then we took a little bus to another place where we walked
up more stairs (to see the tomb of the first Ming emperor). I got a new sword
there. Then we walked on the sacred way where there were statues of lots of
animals like elephants, lions, and a unicorn without a horn.

For lunch, we ate at McDonalds. Then our driver drove us to
a new town (Hefei). I got to play on my kindle in the car.
What song did Rachel an Taylor sing? (see picture above). Did you (Christian) sing? Karaoke sounds like lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteIt's always a good idea to have a new sword to protect your family.
ReplyDeleteI like a country where you can eat ice cream a couple times a day! But isn't a unicorn without a horn, just a horse? Or did it use to be there and got broken off?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the many blogs. Grandma and I are enjoying them.
ReplyDeleteOliver wants to know if Christian has his own kindle.
